In the lively operations of Domotex 2015, the globally leading trade fair for carpets and floor covers in Hanover, visitors to the Vorwerk booth were able to take a break and relax on Thonet seating furniture. Table groups with white chairs from programme range 404 by Stefan Diez were used in the catering and reception areas, while white barstools from the same programme range invited visitors to spend time at the bar. The striking, lightweight wooden seating furniture optimally fit in with the bright and airy concept of the booth, which surprised with its intentional lack of walls. Instead, visitors stepped into a “forest” of white rods, which elegantly structured the booth and, at the same time, created a visual relationship with the white Thonet furniture. The same booth concept also formed the basis for the Vorwerk presence at BAU 2015, the globally leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems in Munich. The two booths were designed by the Hamburg interior designer Jutta Werner of Studio Nomad.
