In the spirit of the Thonet tubular steel collection: new sideboard program S 290

Thonet expands its tubular steel program in the shelf and storage furniture segment: program range S 290 consists of four basic elements that are offered in two heights and widths. The elements are available individually and allow for many different configurations due to the fact that they can be lined up. The sideboard is modelled after a design from the 1930s, which Sabine Hutter updated and complemented with numerous functions.

Especially elegant: the frame and body of the individual pieces are invisibly interconnected. The sideboard can also be presented from the back and is therefore suitable for use as a room divider. Thanks to its modular design, program range S 290 can be configured to meet individual needs. Optional shelves that can be inserted at three different heights are available for all versions. Doors can be added to the modules and locked when needed. In addition to the classic chrome-plated version, the tubular steel frame of S 290 is available in seven different colours. The product family is suitable for residential use as well as in offices. The desk S 285 by Marcel Breuer perfectly matches the new sideboard S 290.
